Springtime modern boho Elevated Barn Wedding
Handmade and heartfelt details for an intimate celebration in the Santa Ynez Valley.
Inspired by handmade goods, ceramics, minimal and thoughtful details, this intimate gathering was a chance for our design team to reimagine the wine country barn wedding and spice it up with a little glamor.
The event barn at Flying Flags Buellton is a contemporary take on the rustic wine country barn, with cool concrete floors, warm touches, and tons of windows for natural light. It was a beautiful setting for our intimate indoor ceremony. We brought the natural world indoors and framed the couple with potted plants and colorful blooms set against a subtle silver backdrop.
The loungiest of lounge’s was created for our couple and guests to enjoy cocktails in the spring sunshine in the garden of vintage Shasta trailers. Rich velvet mixed with leather and boho details created a fun experience where guests could relax or even take a siesta on oversized pillows.
The dinner took place centered perfectly in front of the barn doors at twilight. Earthy terracotta mixed with black handmade ceramic dishware by Jeffrey May, owner of Mayware Ceramics. complimented the minimal pops of color down the center of the table by floral designer Tracey Morris, of Ella and Louie. Paper goods were designed by Laurelle Creative to compliment the colors and warm natural tones. Guests dined alfresco by candlelight on delicious food prepared by the catering team at Flying Flags.
